This policy explains how GMRPG LLC, doing business as Gold Medal Real Property Group ("we," "us"), handles information collected through gm-rpg.com and our phone, email and text communications.
Information we collect
- What you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address, questionnaire answers and any message you send.
- Consent records: whether you opted in to text messages, the exact consent wording shown, and the date and time.
- Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs your IP address, browser type, and the pages and links you visit, for security and troubleshooting. When you submit a form, we also store a one-way hashed version of your IP address (used only to prevent spam and deleted after one day), the page you submitted from, and any campaign or ad-click tags in the link you followed (for example, utm_source, gclid or fbclid).
- On your device: the site saves your questionnaire answers in your browser's local storage so you don't lose your place. They are not sent to us until you submit, are deleted from your browser when you submit, and expire after 30 days if you don't. You can also tap "Start over" to erase them. We do not use cookies on our public pages.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss options for your property.
- To send texts you have agreed to receive (see "Text messaging" below).
- To prevent spam and abuse, keep records required by law, and improve the site.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our web host, email provider and text-messaging platform, who may use it only to provide services to us; with a title company, attorney or lender involved in a transaction you choose to pursue; or when the law requires it. When you submit a form, our staff receive a short email notification (your first name and phone number); the rest of your information stays in our secured system.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our text-messaging platform, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging
If you check the optional text consent box, we may text you about your inquiry, including follow-ups and appointment reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. See our SMS Terms.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for up to 3 years after our last contact with you, then delete them automatically, unless a transaction you're part of requires us to keep them longer. Daily backups are kept for 14 days, and staff email notifications are deleted after 90 days.
If you opt out or ask us to stop contacting you, we keep a minimal record (a coded version of your phone number or email, the date, and your original consent) so we don't contact you again. We keep that record even if you ask us to delete your other information, and for at least 4 years, as consumer-protection law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@gm-rpg.com, calling us, or replying STOP to any text. We honor requests to stop contacting you within 10 business days, and respond to other requests within 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-controlled storage and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send account numbers or Social Security numbers through the website.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above.
